if I buy a leased licensed right now via Credit Card? Can I transfer Ownership?Ok, I have someone wanting to transfer me a license..........It has never been transfered and is more than 3 months old.......Expireds FEb 2006.........can you tell me the instructions on transfering the license so I can pass on the message? thanks.Because of a large amount of fraud relating to license transfers, we have a policy regarding the transfer of vBulletin licenses. We regret if this causes a problem, but this is necessary to protect not only ourselves, but the purchasers of licenses who are victims of these scams.
The policy states:
Jelsoft may, in its discretion, allow you to transfer your license to another party, providing the license:
- has not already been transferred in the previous 12 months; and
- was purchased more than 3 months in the past.

You should also contact them yourself with the license number of that vBulletin license and see if it qualifies for transfership, and see the status of it.
