Hi is it safe to wear contact lenses during skiing?
I'm wondering if there's a high chance of the contacts drying out in the snow and if it's wise to bring around a small bottle of eye drops just to rehydrate the eyes. Yes, i do it over and over. If you have good contacts, they won't dry out easily. goggles will protect them completely. Good luck on the slopes.go for the laser operation for your eye sight then dunp the lenses.wear goggles over themdont wear it.. u might get hurt..I wear mine when I'm not too lazy to put them in or when I know there is going to be a great need for me to use my goggles all day, otherwise I just wear my prescription sunglasses.
If you choose to wear your contacts, wear goggles. If possible, wear a bracelet that says you are wearing contacts, or put a label or sticker on your helmet to alert Ski Patrol of your lenses should you have an accident and become unconscious.i wear mine and its fineWear goggles to stop the wind blowing into your eyes, and don't wear them for too long every day. Make sure any eye drops are approved by the optician for use with contacts.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
