I'm doing a debate for humanites and my group mate couldn't find a point that explains why the evolutionary theory, compared to the social learning theory, explains human aggression the best. Please give examples too.
One point we found was: We are born with phobia's, the social learning theory cannot explain why we have these phobia's.

What university are you at?yeah phobias help explain it, but evolutionary theory explains aggression because our primal ancestors had to fight over food as well as for mates, which would explain aggresion through evolution.
